Town of Ajax Advisory Committee Application

Please complete this form if you are interested in being considered for appointment to a Town of Ajax Advisory Committee. Please complete one submission for each committee of interest. 

The Town of Ajax is seeking applications from Town residents to be nominated for appointment to the following Durham Region committees:

  • Accessibility Advisory Committee (10 appointments available)

    • The Accessibility Advisory Committee provides feedback on the prevention, identification and removal of barriers that restrict people with disabilities from fully participating in Town programs, services and facilities.

  • Heritage Advisory Committee (10 appointments available)

    • The Heritage Advisory Committee promotes and preserves the unique local history, including the natural, cultural and architectural heritage of Ajax.

Eligibility requirements

Applicants must be:

  • 16 years of age or older
  • a Town of Ajax resident or property owner
  • committed to attending monthly evening meetings at Ajax Town Hall
  • willing to participate fully in consultation discussions in support of the Committee's mandate
  • Preference may be given to candidates with backgrounds and disciplines related to the mandate of the respective committees.
