The following activities are available during Aging Well Month:

Kick Aging Well Month off with our annual BBQ. Celebrate our older adults of Ajax with some delicious food, music, community vendors and the Ajax Senior of the Year presentation. Residents are encouraged to bring a chair as limited picnic table seating is available. Need a lift? Free transportation available. Vegetarian and halal options available.  Visit ajax.ca/55events to view bus schedule and list of vendors.

Ajax Older Adult Task Force

Looking to get involved? Become a volunteer member on the Town's Older Adult Task Force. Take part in bi-monthly meetings, assist staff with the implementation of the Town’s Older Adult/Seniors Recreational Services Strategy and advise on older adult programs, events and service delivery. Be an ambassador and assist with the Town's Age-Friendly Community strategy recommendations. The goal of the Task Force is to strengthen and increase recreation and cultural opportunities for residents and visitors. Become a member by submitting an application.
